Owned by Chris Down this ex Great Western branchline has recently undergone a makeover. Ruan is set in Cornwall during the late 1950’s early 1960’s during the transitional period, steam is still the predominant form of motive power however the wheels of modernisation are turning and the odd diesel is starting to creep in. The fact the Ruan escaped the Beeching Axe is primarily due to it’s close proximity to Predannick Airfield.

Measuring 12ft x 2ft the layout requires two or three operators.
